Quality
NuLeaf Naturals is commitment to quality, they are setting the standard for quality in the United States. CBD is being produced without any regulation, resulting in products that vary widely in quality. You may have read the quote “It really is the Wild West” pertaining to the manufacturing and selling of CBD products. NuLeaf Naturals has the highest quality CBD oil products on the market.
Third Party Verified
NuLeaf Naturals uses third party lab-testing for quality and purity, every bottle has been subjected to rigorous laboratory testing. They go beyond most other CBD oil companies when having their products tested. Typically CBD companies only test for the cannabinoid profile with potency but with NuLeaf Naturals every test has the cannabinoid profile with potency, heavy metal analysis, microbiological contaminants, pesticide analysis, terpenes profile and analysis of volatile organic compounds. Every bottle contains the optimal amount of CBD and is free of over 200 different pesticides, heavy metals, and mycotoxins.
Organic Farming
Full Spectrum Extract
NuLeaf Naturals only uses full spectrum extract. Using hemp plants that offer superior genetics allows them to create a naturally highly concentrated CBD product. Allowing them to retain significant amount of secondary cannabinoids such as CBC, CBG, CBN, and more. These cannabinoids will work synergistically together, this is known as the entourage effect. Having the entourage effect increases the effectiveness of the CBD oil and increases benefits that you will receive.
Increased Bioavailability
NuLeaf Naturals uses hemp seed oil as their carrier oil, so you are getting more of the same plant. Hemp seed oil has been proven to increase the bioavailability of CBD oil. Other companies use cheaper oils like olive oil, grape seed oil, coconut oil, or MCT oil. These cheaper oils can cause reactions in certain people like diarrhea and headaches. NuLeaf Naturals uses CO2 extraction to retain the entire spectrum of cannabinoids, no heat is used that will degrade the product, and no solvents are used that will pollute it.
All Natural
NuLeaf Naturals products are: all natural, Non-GMO, 100% organic, zero additives, no preservatives, no emulsifiers, no added flavors, no herbicides, no pesticides, no chemical fertilizers, only pure CBD-rich oil.
Terpenes
NuLeaf Naturals has more terpenes than the average CBD brand. The increased terpenes are one of the reasons why people see an increased benefit when using CBD. They add therapeutic value like their cannabinoid partners. Without terpenes CBD oil isn’t as effective, the presence of terpenes adds to the phenomenon known as the entourage effect. Terpenes work together to boost and modulate the effects of one another in the body’s endocannabinoid system. Utilizing terpenes compounds in hemp influence its effects by interacting with cannabinoids and create synergy.
So what terpenes does NuLeaf have? NuLeaf has the following terpenes: beta-myrcene, alpha-bisabolol, linalool, beta-caryophyllene, caryophyllene oxide, guaiol, alpha-humulene, eucalyptol, alpha-pinene, D-limonene, cis-beta-ocimene, and terpinolene.
The Math
Understanding the math of CBD oil is the most important step when determining quality and cost. Once you understand the math, you will recognize why NuLeaf Naturals is recommended and is the highest quality CBD oil on the market.
MG per ML
Let’s look at Company A, who bottles the same oil in different concentrations. In order to understand why companies do this (and why it isn’t necessary) you need to first know how many milligrams (MG) you’re getting in each milliliter (mL). To get this number, you must first divide the number of MG’s that are in the entire bottle (usually the big “main” number on the label) by the volume of the bottle, which is normally listed in mL’s. (A good starting point is knowing that 1oz = 30mL.) Once you do that, why not take it a step further to know how many MG’s are in each drop?
Let’s pretend Company A cuts corners by extracting using alcohol and using a cheap carrier oil like MCT. The prices below reflect the average cost of what competitors are pricing their oils at. Use “30mL” as my example since this is the most popular bottle size being used in the industry:
Examples of Company A’s 30mL oil:
250mg/30mL ($35)
- 250 divided by 30 = 8.3mg p/mL
500mg/30mL ($65)
- 500 divided by 30 = 16.6mg p/mL
1000mg/30mL ($100)
- 1000 divided by 30 = 33.3mg p/mL
NuLeaf Naturals CBD oil:
300mg/5mL
- 300 divided by 5 = 60mg p/mL
900mg/15mL
- 900 divided by 15 = 60mg p/mL
1800mg/30mL
- 1800 divided by 30 = 60mg p/mL
3000mg/50mL
- 3000 divided by 50 = 60mg p/mL
6000mg/100mL
- 6000 divided by 100 = 60mg p/mL
*Remember: With us (NuLeaf Naturals) you’re always getting more than promised, so even though the formula was designed to produce a minimum of 58-60mg p/mL, you’ll always notice you’re getting more than promised when looking at the COA’s, which are consistently testing higher than 60mg p/mL.
MG per DROP (20 drops = 1mL)
In order to know how many milligrams are in each drop, you must first understand that it takes approximately 20 drops of liquid to make up approximately 1 milliliter of liquid. Why is this important you ask? Let’s say Jim has been on a daily regimen of 60mg every day using CBD oil.
Using the example from above, divide the final number by 20 (amount of drops needed to make up 1mL):
- 250mg/30mL bottle
- 8.3mg p/mL divided by 20 = 0.4mg p/drop
- 500mg/30mL bottle
- 16.6mg p/mL divided by 20 = 0.8mg p/drop
- 1000mg/30mL bottle
- 33.3mg p/mL divided by 20 = 1.7mg p/drop
*NuLeaf Naturals has 3mg p/drop
In order to know how much it would take for Jim to achieve his Goldilocks number of 60mg a day, simply divide his number (60mg) by how many MG’s are in each drop to know how many drops he needs to take to get to 60mg:
- 250mg/30mL bottle
- 60mg divided by 0.4mg p/drop = 150 drops, or 7.5mL (remember there are approximately 20 drops per mL, so we just divided 150 by 20 to get 7.5mL’s) – Mmmmm…. Lots of MCT Oil!!
- 500mg/30mL bottle
- 60mg divided by 0.8mg p/drop = 75 drops (3.75mL)
- 1000mg/30mL bottle
- 60mg divided by 1.7mg p/drop = 35 drops (1.7mL)
Now let’s compare with NuLeaf:
250mg/30mL bottle = 7.5mL at 0.4mg p/drop vs NuLeaf 1mL a day at 3mg p/drop
500mg/30mL bottle = 3.75mL at 0.8mg p/drop vs NuLeaf 1mL a day at 3mg p/drop
1000mg/30mL bottle = 1.7mL at 1.7mg p/drop vs NuLeaf 1mL a day at 3mg p/drop
No matter what bottle of NuLeaf Naturals, Jim will take 1mL a day to get his 60mg. That is a lot less carrier oil and other added ingredients! Remember NuLeaf only has two ingredients: USDA Certified Organic Hemp Oil and Full Spectrum Hemp Extract. Now that you understand the math, you can now apply it to any company’s hemp oil.
